How it works (high level)
- Hiring & EPFO registration: Employer hires, ensures EPFO registration & accurate ECR entries for new employees.
- Six-month verification: After 6 months of continuous employment, first instalment (where applicable) is eligible; employer may claim their monthly incentive as per rules.
- 12-month verification & training: Second instalments/payments subject to 12-month retention and completion of any mandatory financial literacy/training for employees.
- Claims & audits: Claims processed via EPFO/implementing portals; audits and compliance checks apply.
